The Getty mansuscript of Fiore dei Liberi's 'Fior di Battaglia' (Flower of Battle) is in medieval Italian and is considered the 'best' and most complete description of Fiore's 'system.' Our interpretation of Fiore's methods for using the major knightly weapons is strongly based on this document and its detailed illustrations.
